Couples Therapy in New Hampshire

Deepen connections in your key relationships.

Welcome

You might be wondering how you got here.

Maybe you’re feeling lonely in your relationship. Perhaps you’re trying to regain the love and stability you once felt. It may feel like it’s increasingly difficult to communicate or that your attempts to resolve your issues are driving you deeper into conflict.

On top of it, there are likely additional stressors in your personal life. It is no wonder that we struggle to hold it all together!

Reconnect

Despite what we’re led to believe, relationships don’t always naturally thrive because you love one another.

Relationships are hard, and at minimum, they need maintenance work every once in a while.  And sometimes, despite our best efforts, we get caught in endless cycles of missed connections and conflict, leading to isolation and pain.

There is hope.

Through the use of Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), I help couples identify and repair these negative cycles in a supportive environment so they can be better equipped to share emotional experiences and needs.

What I help with

Increased emotional closeness

When you struggle for so long, you drift apart and feel like you’re on two completely different islands. As you steal glances at each other every once in a while, missing the connections,  it can be hard to believe that you could ever get back to the same island again.

Support during life challenges.

You might be struggling with a life transition, such as becoming new parents or shifting careers. Maybe you’ve found yourselves living parallel lives as you juggle childcare, careers, and personal lives. Or you’re years into your relationship and discover that you never really let your partner really see you.

Having more productive conflicts.

No relationship is conflict-free. But if it feels like you’re having the same argument over and over again, it can be exhausting. You feel like you don’t have the energy for another disagreement when they don’t lead to any resolution or relief.

Your experiences are valid.
